The Auditor plays a critical role in preparing and assembling the county budget, overseeing the Department of Licensing, ensuring records are maintained accurately, and protecting the integrity of our elections.
During my time in the Auditor’s Office, I’ve implemented our online Electronic Recording services and played a key role in launching our new county finance software system from the ground up. Doing this improved efficiency while saving the county money, improved accuracy, and reinforced accountability for taxpayers. I will continue embracing technology to streamline operations, reduce costs, and insure accurate and timely reporting of county finances.
I am committed to expanding voter outreach throughout our communities to help increase voter participation and understanding of the election process. Protecting election integrity through transparency, accountability, and accuracy is one of the most important responsibilities of the Auditor’s office.
