It has been a great pleasure and experience serving the community while working in the Clerk’s Office for the last 14 years, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving as your elected County Clerk. I was appointed as an interim Clerk in August 2016 and have maintained the elected position since then. In the last few years the State of Washington has made several drastic law changes that have required my office to make changes and implement them to be able to serve the public. I continue to make efforts in maintaining the permanent record by digitizing and archiving older records for preservation and easier access. I would like to thank the voters for your confidence and support to allow me to continue to serve as the County Clerk. I was born and raised in the Lewis Clark Valley. My husband, Nickolas Ward, is the elected Prosecutor in Columbia County. Together we have two daughters and a son and I am grateful to be able to raise them in this community.
