I’m Curt Liedkie and I’ve been proud to serve as your prosecuting attorney here in Asotin County. The last three years have been tough for the office, starting with the loss of Mr. Nichols in May of 2023. We’ve been short staffed for attorneys ever since, and recently, funding for a third deputy prosecutor position was cut by the Board of County Commisioners, leaving us short handed for the foreseeable future. It’s times like these that the importance of experienced leadership is critical. With over twenty-five years as a prosecuting attorney, I have that veteran leadership experience necessary to see this office through another four years, and I will continue to make community safety the number one priority.
