Washington has spent years making excuses for criminals while victims, families, and law-abiding citizens are left to deal with the consequences. I am running for Sheriff because Asotin County needs leadership that will stand up, enforce the law, and put this community first. Drug dealers who prey on vulnerable people should be held accountable. Violent offenders should answer for their crimes. Victims should feel supported, not forgotten. As Sheriff, I will work closely with the Prosecutor’s Office to build strong cases, support victims, and make sure the people harming our community face real consequences. Asotin County is growing, and we cannot afford weak leadership or soft priorities. We need a Sheriff’s Office ready for the next decade, focused on safe streets, protected homes, strong deputies, and constitutional policing. I believe the Constitution still matters. I have already stood up for that principle by challenging Olympia and defending the right of Asotin County voters to choose their next Sheriff. As Sheriff, I will stand for public safety, personal freedom, and constitutional rights.

With more than 31 years of full-time law enforcement experience in the Lewis-Clark Valley, I have dedicated my career to protecting our communities and leading with integrity. As Sheriff, I will continue the community-oriented approach I practiced as Police Chief by building trust, listening to citizens, and working collaboratively to solve local problems and strengthen public safety throughout Asotin County. My priorities as Sheriff are clear. I will aggressively confront the fentanyl epidemic through strong enforcement, prevention efforts, and community education. I will lead the newly opened Jail with strength, integrity, accountability, and collaboration while partnering with local organizations to control costs and expand programs that help incarcerated individuals break the cycle of reoffending and successfully return as productive citizens. I will address jail release concerns, strengthen deputy training, and ensure deputies are fully prepared to serve professionally and effectively. I deeply respect the Sheriff’s responsibility to protect constitutional rights and will work tirelessly to uphold every citizen’s rights. I respectfully ask for your support and would be honored to serve as your next sheriff.
