Chelan County has been my home for nearly 26 years. It is where my husband, Omar, and I have raised our three children and where I have built my career in public service. I ran for this office with a clear belief: the Clerk’s Office is not about party politics; it is about the people. It is about providing accurate, respectful, and dependable service to every individual who walks through our doors. My experience has given me a strong understanding of how the Clerk’s Office functions and how it must remain consistent, efficient, and accountable. Every day in this role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to serving the public with integrity. I want to thank the community for the support I received in my last race for Clerk, which was decided by less than one percent. That close result reflected strong support for experienced, nonpartisan leadership focused on serving the public. When elected, I will continue providing transparent, reliable, and efficient service while ensuring accountability in every function of the office. I humbly ask for your support and your vote for Sandra Arechiga as your next Chelan County Clerk.

My wife, Jackie, and I have 9 children and soon there will be 14 grandchildren. My reason for running for re-election is to do whatever I can to help our amazing county continue to be the best place to live for generations to come. We moved to Blewett Pass over 28 years ago and, before that, resided in four other states due to my corporate job. Chelan county is by far the best place to live and we will stay. My experience and leadership skills working as an Operations and Production Manager included department administration, budgeting and quality control. I lead by example and enjoy the challenging tasks and long hours that come with being the County Clerk. Close connections with the 38 other County Clerks along with utilizing our office subject matter experts is highly valued for problem solving and answering those rare questions that only come up every decade or so. One cannot be so prideful to think you know it all. Teamwork is a focus and I have great rapport with the union representative to build morale and efficiency. I humbly offer to serve the county again and make the future better for my children and grandchildren.
