With over 20 years of law enforcement experience, it is an honor to serve as your Chelan County Sheriff and protect the community I deeply care about. This office belongs to the people, and I remain committed to providing professional, responsive, and compassionate law enforcement to every resident. I have worked alongside our deputies and staff to strengthen the Sheriff’s Office focusing on full staffing and improved recruitment and retention efforts. We have modernized equipment, vehicles, and facilities while increasing training standards beyond state requirements and improving pay, benefits, and wellness support for our employees.
Under my leadership, our Marine Patrol, Traffic Unit, U.S. Forest Service Deputies, Drug Task Force, and Behavioral Health Unit have become more visible, proactive, and effective. Many members of our agency have earned state and federal recognition for their dedication and service. Through strong partnerships with local cities and state and federal agencies, we have successfully responded to wildfires, floods, and other critical incidents while securing millions of dollars in grants to improve public safety.
Most importantly, my priority remains the safety of our citizens, preserving public trust, and protecting the quality of life that makes Chelan County such a special place to call home.

I bring a career built step by step in patrol, SWAT operations, training, and leadership roles, along with formal education in business administration, that has prepared me to lead the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office with both operational experience and organizational discipline. From working the streets as a deputy, to training and developing others as a sergeant, to serving in multi-agency command roles, I have learned how to build strong teams, make sound decisions under pressure, and earn trust at every level of a law enforcement organization.
That experience is grounded in a belief that effective leadership is both earned and demonstrated - through accountability, clear communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement. I understand the demands placed on deputies, the expectations of the public, and the responsibility that comes with managing a public safety agency that serves the people of Chelan County.
I am prepared for this role not because of a single position or title, but because of the full scope of my experience - developing individuals, leading teams, managing resources, and building trust. I am ready to bring that preparation to the office of Sheriff and lead with clarity, consistency, and purpose.
