Chelan County’s financial systems depend on trust, accuracy, and disciplined execution. I am running for Treasurer because I believe this office requires strong fiduciary leadership, operational accountability, and a modern approach to managing public funds.
My professional background is in fiduciary advisory work, compliance, and business oversight across multiple organizations. That experience requires strict financial controls, regulatory discipline, and the ability to manage complex systems without compromising accuracy or accountability.
A key opportunity in this role is improving coordination between the Treasurer, Auditor, and other county departments. Strengthening audit preparation, improving workflows, and supporting updated financial software systems are practical priorities. My background is well suited to improving efficiency and transparency across county financial operations.
Public funds require disciplined stewardship and compliance with state law and investment policy. My focus is a Treasurer’s Office that is accurate, accountable, operationally modern, and committed to serving taxpayers with integrity and respect.

As an elected official with the largest School district in Chelan County and a multi term Council member in Wenatchee, I have tremendous respect for the staff, of this office. Investment and the interface with Local and County agencies is extremely important. Authorities exist between public finance budgets, activities of the County finance departments, and my experience in public office offers the voters in Chelan County; a clear choice. Public and private finance rules are necessary for the Treasurer position, to safe guard the integrity of tax dollars. I committed to serving my constituents years ago and would be honored to continue serving as Chelan County Treasurer. Above all, I have served you, the citizens of Chelan County, and protected the taxpayer dollars, that are utilized to make our community better. State law includes this duty among others critical to ensuring the funds held in Treasury are protected. All public funds deposited in public depositaries, including investment deposits and accrued interest thereon, shall be protected against loss, as provided in this chapter. RCW 39..Continued accountability upgrades and cybersecurity will be my first priority, if elected.
