Clallam County Director of Community Development

I have been honored to serve as your elected Director of Community Development since 2023. I am proud of the accomplishments the Department has achieved in that time. These include diversifying business opportunities for area farms through expanded agricultural accessory uses; reestablishing collaborative relations between the Department and the Board of County Commissioners; improved coordination with other agencies; working on meaningful policy changes to strengthen housing and economic development through the Comprehensive Plan update; and strengthening Code Enforcement. I am particularly proud of the contributions that my staff has brought to making the DCD the quality organization it has become. But there is still more work to be done. If reelected, I want to continue working towards sound, sustainable growth while protecting our quality of life that makes our communities wonderful places to live, work and raise a family. With my background in both the private and public sectors, I continue to find opportunities for improving procedures and establishing predictability in the permitting process. It is for these reasons that I respectfully ask for your vote so that we may continue working together to make Clallam County a better place to live.
