Clallam County Prosecuting Attorney

For over a decade, I have promoted safety, justice, and service for all the citizens of Clallam County. During this time laws have changed, and so too has the complexity of public safety challenges. More than ever, keeping our neighborhoods safe, reducing crime, and protecting victims requires proven experience, leadership, and innovation. With over 20 years of prosecution experience I am uniquely equipped to address these challenges. I am also deeply committed to improving the quality of life for all the citizens of Clallam County. In my fourth term, public safety will remain my top priority. I will maintain focus on prosecuting violent offenders, especially those who target vulnerable members of the community. I have also become increasingly concerned about the impact of repeat offenders and will use all legal means to address the disproportionate impact they are having on the criminal justice system. I will advocate to ensure victims’ constitutional and statutory rights are respected throughout the criminal justice system. I will continue to prioritize positive and collaborative working relationships with law enforcement, and other community stakeholders, recognizing that we are stronger and far more effective when we work together.
