It has been an honor to serve as your Clallam County Treasurer. Thank you for the trust you’ve placed in me these past four years-I’ve worked every day to earn it. From day one, my focus has been clear: safeguard your tax dollars while making County government more efficient, transparent, and accountable. We’ve improved internal processes to reduce errors, save time, and expand online visibility so you can see how your tax dollars are collected, invested, and managed. I took immediate action to strengthen our financial position by increasing invested funds (+240%) reducing low-interest balances (by 37%), and growing interest earnings more than eightfold, all while maintaining a conservative, risk-conscious approach delivering real returns for our community. I also began the overdue review of our banking relationship and services to secure better value, stronger protections, modern fraud prevention tools, lower fees, and higher earned credit rates. If re-elected, I will continue to save tax dollars, improve services, and protect against fraud, including expanding secure electronic payments and property safeguards. We’ve built strong momentum, but more work remains. I’m committed to delivering results with accountability and transparency, and I welcome the opportunity to continue earning your trust.
