As your current Councilor, I dedicate myself to addressing our county’s budget, policy, and legislative needs. I have consistently opposed new and unnecessary taxes and will continue to advocate for fiscal responsibility. Drawing on my experience as federal procurement leader, Veteran, and mother, I am committed to reducing housing costs and taxes. I am devoted to protecting county residents from unwanted annexation by the City of Vancouver, ensuring that any changes prioritize taxpayers and service quality. County residents deserve better than to face higher city taxes with minimal return. We need practical transportation solutions to meet our future needs, not a new three lane bridge replacing a three lane bridge. Clark County taxpayers should not be forced to subsidize the failing Oregon TriMet light rail through taxes and tolls, especially when voters have rejected it three times! I have a proven track record of supporting law enforcement and keeping neighborhoods safe. It is essential that county government prioritizes law enforcement, fire protection, and vital infrastructure before expanding programs or increasing spending. As the only native Councilor, I personally understand the concerns that are unique to our county. I would be honored to continue serving as your voice for common sense.

As a Council member, I’ll work today for the Clark County of our future. I have a history of showing up and taking action for those who want their voices heard, this will be my driving force. Repeatedly, I’ve heard a similar message: people want a government that works for them. This means, building and maintaining the infrastructure that connects our communities, investing in strong social services, and not wasting taxpayer dollars. It means protecting our natural spaces while building more housing people can afford, and having a government that responds to its people. This means standing up for working families, defending fundamental rights, and making sure our economy is affordable. I’m running to ensure our county government is as hardworking as the people it serves. For over thirteen years, I’ve served Clark County as a teacher, advocate, and community volunteer, dedicating myself to creating the next generation of active and engaged citizens. When elected, I’ll bring an innovative mindset, collaborative spirit, and tireless work ethic to Council. I’m honored to be endorsed by local leaders like State Senator Cortes, Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle, and County Councilor Fuentes. I hope to earn your vote and get to work for you.
