I am thankful for my community’s support in putting me in this position and ask for your vote of confidence to allow me to serve you, as your County Assessor, another term. Each working environment has taught me valued lessons; from the many assessor roles to the effect that loan types, availability and rates have on the real estate market. I enjoy my job. I really enjoy working with people, helping them with their needs, explaining our roles and process so that they understand. You may not like part of what we do, but understanding why, can be insightful. The Assessor’s office follows rules and regulations enforced by the Washington State Department of Revenue. We have a tough job to do. Our job performance affects every Columbia County resident, property owner, and taxing district. I understand this and those that work alongside me do as well. We do care and take our roles very seriously. I will continue to do my best in providing a fair and equitable valuation of each individual property in our county. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
