Nickolas J. Ward
(States No Party Preference) statement appears humanIt has been my pleasure to serve the citizens of Columbia County when I was appointed as the Prosecutor in November and I look forward to continue serving as your Prosecutor. Since I was appointed, I re-opened my office to the public. If you feel the need to address a concern to your elected Prosecutor, feel free to stop by my office, and I will absolutely meet with you to address that. I am not running with a party affiliation because justice should be blind. I have been a public servant almost my life. I first swore an oath to uphold the United States Constitution when I joined the Marine Corps and shipped to boot camp at MCRD Parris Island, SC in 2006. I then swore oaths to uphold the U.S. and Washington Constitutions when I was a Deputy Prosecutor in Asotin County. I spent several years in private practice as a felony public defender with a small private practice, before being appointed in Columbia County. I have a wife and three beautiful children and pets. I look forward to continuing to serve the citizens of Columbia County, upholding and enforcing the Constitutions for everyone, equally, and being your Prosecutor.
