(Prefers Republican Party) statement appears human A 30 year Castle Rock resident, retired from a 39 year banking career as Senior Vise President, Chief Retail Officer. I have three children and seven grandchildren.
I believe in Citizen led government, not the Government led citizen model currently in use. I have protected your rights by fighting mandates and ordinances that encroach upon them. I opposed a new flood control ordinance that placed further restrictions having little to do with flood control on property owners. The result was a much smaller document eliminating the harmful aspects to the public.
I have refused to take more from your wallet as has become common practice by our state. In fact, I supported the sunset of a tax returning that money to the citizens of Cowlitz County. Something that had not been done in many years.
I believe leaders with strong morals are crucial to dealing with the influences of Government. My daily marching orders can be summed up in three short sentences. Walk in Faith. Act in Love. Endure in Hope. I am called to protect your individual rights as presented in the state and federal constitutions. I would be honored to serve another four years for you.

(Prefers Democratic Party) statement appears partly AI Making the world a better place has been at the forefront of all my endeavors. Whether working overseas as a Peace Corps Volunteer, advancing community health initiatives, helping young mothers navigate healthcare and education, or teaching S.T.E.M. in a middle school classroom, I have always sought to make a positive impact on the people and places I call home. These diverse experiences have allowed me to gain the skills and perspectives necessary to be an effective and creative leader.
As a classroom teacher, I see how families in our community are struggling every day. We need our county commissioners focused on creating economic opportunities, bringing investments into the county, ensuring public safety and affordability, being good stewards of our tax dollars, and making government work for all of us. We deserve leaders who listen, bring people together, and focus on real solutions instead of partisan politics. Too many people have been left behind by a political system that creates division instead of delivering results for working families.
I’m running to help move Cowlitz County forward with common-sense leadership rooted in accountability, transparency, and results that benefit everyone. I humbly ask for your vote.
