Ferry County DISTRICT COURT JUDGE

Ferry County has been my family’s home since 2019. I am honored to be a member of this resilient and hard-working community. While serving as District Court Judge for the last two years, I have been working to revive our Drug Court – now expanded to a Therapeutic Court – in the face of significant hurdles. I will continue the work to craft a Therapeutic Court that not only complies with state law but also fits our community’s values and needs. I have also secured state grant funding to increase compliance with post-conviction conditions that keep our community safe: conditions such as ignition interlock devices, addiction treatment, and mental health services. During my next term, I hope to secure additional state funding to expand pre-trial services, which means that the District Court will be able to monitor defendants and ensure that they are not committing additional crimes or endangering the public while they await trial. I am truly grateful for this opportunity to serve my community as your District Court Judge for the next four years.
