When it comes to protecting our community, experience matters. From enlisting in the Army at 18, to working in corrections, to 23+ years with the sheriff’s office, I have amassed skills and knowledge in leadership and county law enforcement operations. This experience provides me with in-depth understanding of our agency operations at both the patrol and administration level, making me uniquely qualified to lead our office - keeping our community safe and supporting the people doing the job. I was part of the team who led the FCSO into full accreditation, and have overseen the implementation of continuous, focused training for deputies. Partnering with the city of Mesa, I upgraded the Mesa sub-station office, and served as the first Mesa community liaison deputy. I handled organization and recruitment for the Bi-county Sheriff’s Posse, and created their policies and procedures. Mental health and addiction are huge issues in our community, and I am proud to be part of the group who helped bring about the new behavioral health center. I’m running for Sheriff to bring steady leadership, support those who serve, and continue building trust with our community. This campaign is about character, community, commitment, and a lifetime of service.

My family and I have proudly called Franklin County home for more than 20 years, and I am running for Sheriff to protect the values, freedoms, and way of life that makes our community strong. I served in the United States Marine Corps before beginning a law enforcement career that has spanned more than 25 years. Today, I serve as the Chief of Police for the City of Connell. Throughout my career, I have served in patrol, investigations, training, supervision, and command. I hold a bachelor’s degree and am a graduate of the FBI National Academy. These experiences have taught me the importance of strong leadership, personal responsibility, and standing firmly behind law enforcement. Franklin County deserves a Sheriff who will support deputies, enforce the law, defend victims, and keep dangerous criminals off our streets. I believe public safety comes first, taxpayers deserve accountability, and government should operate with transparency and fiscal discipline. As Sheriff, I will fight to keep our communities safe, protect constitutional rights, diligently strengthen partnerships, and ensure the Sheriff’s Office remains focused on law and order. I will always put the people of Franklin County first and would be honored to earn your vote for Sheriff.
