I’m proud to call Garfield County home. Born and raised here, I learned early on that strong communities are built by people who step up, work together, and look out for one another. Those values were instilled in me by my parents, Virgil and Juyne Bowles, whose dedication to our county showed me the importance of service, integrity, and community involvement. I have spent my life giving back to the people and places that have given so much to me. Over the years, I have been honored to serve our community in many ways: volunteering my time for county events through labor, music, donations, cooking, as well as serving as an EMT. These experiences have strengthened my belief that leadership is about being present when your community needs you most. If elected, I will be committed to transparency, accountability, and open communication. The people of Garfield County deserve honest leadership and a government that keeps them informed and involved. I believe the best decisions come from listening to one another and working together. By fostering collaboration and respect among county employees and the public, we can move our county forward in a positive direction that benefits everyone.

As a lifelong resident of Garfield County, I am proud to continue serving the community that my family and I call home. Together, we operate a farm and ranch and understand the importance of hard work, responsible stewardship, and strong local leadership. During my time as County Commissioner, I have remained actively involved in county operations, budgeting, and long-term planning. I believe fiscal responsibility, transparency, and accountability are essential to maintaining the services and infrastructure our community depends on. I am committed to improving county departments, supporting employees, and working collaboratively to find practical solutions that benefit Garfield County now and into the future. Effective leadership requires listening, involvement, and the willingness to have difficult conversations when necessary to ensure responsible decision-making. It has been an honor to serve Garfield County, and I respectfully ask for your continued support.
