I have proudly served as your Grays Harbor County Assessor since 2015 after beginning my career in the Assessor’s Office in 2007. Before being elected Assessor, I personally completed more than 14,000 property appraisals throughout Grays Harbor County. As Assessor, I have focused on fair and accurate property assessments, excellent customer service, transparency, and responsible management of taxpayer resources. I implemented the county’s Taxsifter public records website, upgraded our mass appraisal systems, and built and implement the county’s new MapGeo mapping system. I believe in open government, strong property rights, and responsible taxation. I do not support unnecessary tax increases and believe government should operate efficiently and responsibly on behalf of taxpayers. I was unanimously elected by Washington Assessors to serve on the Washington Association of County Officials Executive Board and have served for 11 years as Computer Technology Chair for the Washington State Association of County Assessors. I am honored to have earned the endorsement of the Grays Harbor Republican Party, many local elected officials, and Assessors from across Washington State. I’ve spent the last 19 years developing my skills, leadership and knowlege. I’m confident that I am the best candidate to continue to be your Assessor.

I believe that the roll of Assessor isn’t just a job, it’s a duty, one that is funded by your tax dollars. The people deserve to have someone in this role who shows up daily to represent the tax payers. The values we assign to a property aren’t just numbers on a data sheet, they are people’s livelihoods. I believe that the most important role for the Assessor is to ensure all properties are assessed fairly and equitably. With me, you will get an Assessor who will be the first one in and the last one out of the office each day, ensuring the people of Grays Harbor are given complete transparency and customer service. For the past four years, I have served as an appraiser in the Assessor’s Office, gaining the vital knowledge required to lead the department. During my tenure, I have developed innovative tools and guides that have streamlined our workflow, significantly increasing both efficiency and accuracy. Exceptional customer service is my top priority; I am dedicated to connecting with property owners and resolving complex issues. My hands-on experience, combined with ongoing professional education, uniquely positions me to guide the Assessor’s Office into a successful future.
