I’ve lived in Jefferson County for 30 years, raising two sons, farming and co-founding two local businesses. As project manager for multiple infrastructure projects, I’ve developed a great appreciation for the critical role that the PUD plays in our day to day lives. Decisions by Jefferson PUD have a lasting influence on the safety, cost, reliability, and environmental impacts of the water, sewer, electric and broadband services that we all rely on. How the PUD handles these responsibilities affects our county’s natural resources, economic development, and quality of life. That’s why I’m running. I believe strategic infrastructure investments, innovative policies, clean energy technologies, and careful budgeting will help the PUD become more reliable, affordable, and resilient for our community for decades to come. I bring a leadership style grounded in being curious and open minded. I’m a practical problem solver, a patient listener, and an advocate for all. I believe the Jefferson Public Utility District has a critical role to play in our community’s future and I respectfully ask for your vote to be commissioner.

Born in Spokane and raised in Kennewick, through Running Start I graduated from high school with an Associate of Applied Science degree from Columbia Basin College, and then on to University of Washington for Computer Engineering before serving in the United States Navy. From 2003 to 2007, I served aboard the aircraft carriers USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Carl Vinson. In 2007 I moved to Port Townsend for a wireless network engineer position working on government contracts. In 2012, I founded Hadlock Computer Services to help people better understand and use technology. Since then, we have worked to provide trusted guidance, technical support, training to help technology work for people, not against them. I am running for PUD Commissioner because our community deserves a representative who listens, communicates openly, and stays focused on the needs and priorities of the people. I believe public service is about the community, building trust, and making decisions that support the future of Jefferson County. My background in engineering, technology, and problem-solving brings a practical and forward-thinking perspective to the challenges facing the PUD. I am committed to helping ensure reliable infrastructure, responsible planning, and transparent leadership that serves the interests of the community.
