Denice Gagner brings 20 years of diverse legal experience to the bench. As a victim advocate, she supported survivors of sexual and physical violence. As a Prosecutor, she held offenders accountable while advancing solutions that upheld public safety. As a criminal defense attorney, she zealously advocated for marginalized clients facing addiction and mental health issues. As a Judge Pro Tem, she has earned a reputation for fairness, compassion, and dedication. Denice Gagner is a lifelong public servant and has strengthened her community even outside the courtroom. She serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Redmond and won the Golden Acorn Award in 2022 for her exemplary volunteerism at her children’s public school. She is the only Eastside candidate to receive the highest possible judicial rating – “Exceptionally Well Qualified” – from all 7 independent bar associations. She is endorsed by 50+ sitting judges, 100+ attorneys, 30+ local leaders (Legislators, Senators, Mayors, and both County and City Councilmembers), the Machinists Union (IAM 751), King County Democrats, all five Eastside LD Democrats, and the National Women’s Political Caucus of Washington.
