I’m Emily Randall – Port Orchard born and raised, daughter of a shipfitter and a paraeducator, and your representative in Congress. I made a pledge to my constituents that in Congress I would hold the Trump Administration accountable and fight to bring down costs for working families, and that’s exactly what I’ve done. In my first term, I’ve worked across the aisle to secure nearly $18 million in federal funding for community projects across all six counties in our district. From wastewater infrastructure to emergency management funding, housing and ferry investments to making the PCS process smoother for military families, we were able to deliver real results for servicemembers, working families, Tribes, and local governments by finding common ground. It’s also my duty to hold the Trump Administration accountable. When Trump threatened Medicaid cuts, I held town halls across the district to listen to the concerns of our communities – and in Washington D.C., I fought back. When his administration mismanaged classified information, I demanded accountability. When ICE acted illegally, I didn’t stay quiet. When the Trump Administration put their corrupt, self-dealing agenda before our Constitution, I used my position on the Oversight Committee to push back. That’s what this moment requires. Our district needs someone who is not afraid to stand strong against threats to our communities, our country, and our Constitution. We must continue to stand up to the Trump Administration’s corruption and fight to protect our democracy, because you deserve a government that works as hard as you do. Washington’s 6th District deserves a representative who understands that our community’s strength lies in its independence, hard work, and natural beauty. From the Olympic Peninsula to the shores of Puget Sound, our working families are facing unprecedented challenges. My family has deep generational roots in the 6th district. I am a citizen volunteer stepping forward to serve all citizens of the 6th. For too long our representation has been focused on fringe ideological activism. We need to get back to the serious business of our district. We need a pragmatic steward, not a political extremist. I am ready to serve. I will bring common sense leadership to Washington, D.C., focusing on the issues that impact our daily lives: public safety, taxes, economic vitality. Public safety is a paramount duty of the government. I will work tirelessly to support our local law enforcement and first responders, providing them with the resources necessary to keep neighborhoods safe and address the growing homelessness & drug crises. We must work with federal partners to protect our communities from the flow of illegal drugs and human trafficking; and hold the electeds who represent us accountable. Furthermore, I will be a fierce advocate for our district’s unique economic drivers. Whether it is supporting our maritime industries, protecting our timber heritage, building our Naval dominance, or fostering innovation in our growing tech sectors, my priority is creating high-quality local jobs. We must also prioritize the health of our clean waters and forests through practical, science-based stewardship, rather than neglectful closure. I am running to represent everyone in the 6th District. I will listen to your concerns, respect your values, and fight for a future where every Washingtonian has the opportunity to thrive.
