Legislative District 13 - State Representative Pos. 1 · Kittitas County

Tom Dent knows what our area needs and he stands up for our people. For Tom, working families and local farms are his first priorities. Childcare is unavailable and unaffordable, and Tom is fighting for real solutions to lower costs for families and support providers. When wildfire sparks, we need planes working to suppress it ASAP. Tom fought hard to make wildfire aviation support funding permanent, and he prevailed. Tom isn’t shy about reminding westside legislators that it’s our area that helps feed this state. His bipartisan credibility helps him explain and advocate for Central Washington in Olympia.

Born & raised in this area, I have been employed in the fields, factories, and law enforcement. I have also been a landlord, a local customer, community volunteer and organizer. We have all watched how Olympia treats symptoms instead of causes. I am running to work on cures, not band-aids. How does one gauge integrity? I will accept no corporate PAC money. I intend to prioritize health for Washingtonians, union rights, farmworker protections, water rights, and fix our regressive tax system. Families deserve homes they can not just afford, but also maintain and improve. Thank you for your time.
