It’s been my privilege to serve the people of Lewis County for decades as a Pastor, Biologist, and Business owner. As your Commissioner, I serve as Chair of the Office of Chehalis Basin, the Flood Control District and Lewis County Transit. I utilize my professional experience representing Lewis County on the Lower Columbia Fish Recovery Board, 911 Governance, Veterans Advisory Board, Economic Alliance and the SW Washington Fair. As your County Commissioner, I have worked hard to represent you with honesty and integrity while standing firm on difficult decisions. This is our community and we can continue building a stronger future for our children and grandchildren. My commitment continues to be efficient County Government that works for us, serving the needs of the citizens. I will continue to support law enforcement, flood control, agriculture and timber, our veterans and seniors, as well as job creation and housing development while balancing our rural way of life. There are many challenges ahead, but I will continue to face them head on, working for you, doing what is right and solving problems to the best of my ability.

I want Lewis County to thrive again with good paying jobs by making Lewis County a place where businesses want to be. Safety, education, medical care, transportation and expedited permitting are all part of what we need. While County Commissioners don’t have a final say on all these needs, we can be strong voices bringing public pressure to move our county forward. Our residents shouldn’t have to be worried about being burglarized while they are at work or have to tolerate known drug dealers and drug houses. I believe we are about to get a new Sheriff who understands our safety needs. It’s time for economic development throughout Lewis County. Commissioner Pollock and I will provide that leadership to make this happen. I have had the good fortune to serve as a PUD Commissioner with Dave Muller and David Fenn. They taught me that Commissioners set policy, not day to day management. No more expensive political lawsuits. Just serve the public. I know the people and needs of the 3rd District; I will be there at council meetings. I will be a strong voice because I am of, by, and for people too often not heard. Elect Mike Hadaller.
