I believe strong families are the foundation of strong communities. If re-elected, I will continue focusing on common-sense solutions to the kitchen-table issues facing working families, seniors, small business owners, and students. Washington needs to invest in rural communities, and act proactively to create a robust, sustainable economy which provides us with good union jobs, but not at the expense of our health and the character of our vibrant landscapes. I will work to create new parks for small towns, build affordable housing while preventing sprawl from paving over our fields and forests, invest in the production of sustainable alternative materials, improve access to healthcare, expand and improve public transportation, stop data centers, and ensure that our young people have everything they need to find success without leaving their home town.
