Are you on a fixed income? My income is fixed and I cannot afford to continue to pay an ever-increasing amount of taxes. I am running for Assessor to do my part to help fix the tax mess. I will exempt, reduce, or remove your property taxes where possible. You deserve to be secure in your property. Not fearful of tax increases forcing you out. I am qualified, educated, and committed. The incumbent Assessor has been in office for over 20 years. Twenty years in office taxing and taxing. It’s time for new blood. It’s time for new eyes. It’s time for a clear vision. Change starts somewhere, why not here? A positive history of initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. I achieve success by creating and revising systems and procedures, analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, budgetary and personnel requirements, and then implementing appropriate changes as necessary. I’ve entered this race to represent you and your interests. My goal is to return accountability, transparency, and effectiveness to county government while streamlining processes, improving services, and reducing costs in the process. All without impacting personnel and putting their livelihoods in jeopardy.
