Daniel C. Garcia
(Prefers Republican Party)statement appears partly AI
I am a husband, father of four sons, retired Navy Reserve Senior Chief Petty Officer, volunteer firefighter/EMT, youth sports coach, and small business owner. After 22 years of military service and nine deployments/mobilizations supporting Operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and New Dawn, I brought my leadership experience home to serve Pacific County. As your Sheriff, I have worked to improve transparency, communication, training, and responsiveness within the Sheriff’s Office. Under my leadership, the Office has strengthened community engagement, increased professional standards, expanded public information efforts, and reinforced its commitment to public safety in Pacific County. The Office of the Sheriff is a duty and responsibility to the People, not simply a job title. I remain committed to serving Pacific County with integrity, accountability, courage, and leadership while continuing to build trust between this Office and the community.
With love, Sheriff Garcia
