I am running for Pacific County Prosecutor because our community deserves a Prosecutor’s Office grounded in strength, stability, and integrity. I have the experience and commitment to bring this vision to life. Strength means enforcing the law fairly and consistently, protecting victims, holding offenders accountable, and prioritizing public safety. It also means making difficult decisions when necessary and ensuring criminal charges and sentencing accurately reflect the conduct that occurred. Stability means building a Prosecutor’s Office that is dependable, professional, and focused on long-term success. It comes from strong leadership, clear policies, supporting the employees who serve our community, and a long-term commitment to Pacific County and its future. Integrity means doing the right thing, even when it is difficult. It means being honest, transparent, and guided by fairness, ethics, and respect for the law. Every case should be handled ethically, fairly, and with professionalism. These principles are essential to building public trust, protecting our communities, and maintaining a justice system that serves Pacific County fairly and effectively. I would be honored to serve as Pacific County Prosecutor and look forward to building a strong future for our community.

I was born and raised and have spent most of my life in Pacific County. I lived elsewhere for a few years and returned to Pacific County permanently in 1996. In the 30 years since I returned, I have been privileged to serve the people of Pacific County in several roles, including prosecuting for the four cities (Raymond, South Bend, Long Beach, and Ilwaco), as well as providing services as City Attorney for Raymond and South Bend. I have also served as a Superior Court Commissioner and Pro-Tem District Court Judge for much of that time. I have been very active in the community, belonging to several service organizations and several fraternal organizations and have been to the chief officer position on multiple occasions. I hope this demonstrates my commitment to the people of Pacific County. I believe that my extensive legal experience and demonstrated commitment to the people of Pacific County and show that I am the person for job of Prosecutor. I hope the voters of Pacific County agree with me and give me the opportunity to serve them as Prosecutor.
