I am running for Pend Oreille County Assessor because I believe the office should be operated with professionalism, accountability, efficiency, and respect for the people it serves. Having worked in the Assessor’s Office for more than 12 years, including my current role as Chief Deputy Assessor, I understand the responsibilities of the office and the importance of treating property owners fairly and respectfully. My experience has provided me with the knowledge and leadership necessary to guide the office forward while continuing to provide reliable and accurate service to the public. I support implementing modern technology and updated processes that can improve office operations, increase efficiency, and help save taxpayer dollars while maintaining accuracy and transparency in appraisal work. I also believe it is important to protect property owners’ rights and privacy while ensuring the Assessor’s Office fulfills its legal responsibilities effectively and responsibly. My goal is to maintain an office that is approachable, professional, and committed to serving the people of Pend Oreille County with honesty, integrity, and respect. As your Assessor, I will work hard to ensure the office remains efficient, transparent, and focused on serving the community.
