When you elected me four years ago, I promised leadership, integrity, and results. I’ve worked every day to keep those promises and have done so by securing additional funding for road maintenance and snowplowing, helping bring nearly $5 million in housing support to Metaline Falls, and fighting to restore local property rights impacted by unnecessary state regulations. The bottom line is this: I get results. I’ve stood strong against bad ideas such as road levy shifts, because deferring road maintenance to balance the budget is a short-term fix that leads to long-term problems. I oppose data centers because of legitimate concerns they’ll drive up power costs, stress water supplies, and threaten property rights in exchange for few jobs and little economic benefit. They are a bad deal. And I’ve spoken out against cuts to Medicare because no one should have to choose between buying food and filling a prescription or be one hospital bill away from bankruptcy. It is the honor of a lifetime to serve as your County Commissioner, and I respectfully ask for your vote so I can keep working hard for you.

I am a longtime Newport resident, small business owner, wife, and mother who is deeply invested in the future of Pend Oreille County. For more than 20 years, my family and I have proudly called this community home while raising our three sons, building local businesses, and supporting schools, youth programs, and community organizations. As the owner of Lucky Bee Variety Store and Squatchee’s Scoops & Swirls, I understand the importance of responsible budgeting, supporting local jobs, and creating opportunities that help communities thrive. My experience as a business owner has taught me the value of hard work, practical problem-solving, and building strong relationships. I believe local government works best when it is community-driven, transparent, proactive, and collaborative. I am committed to listening to residents, working together to find practical solutions, and keeping county government focused on the needs of local families, businesses, and taxpayers. My volunteer service includes youth sports, Booster Club, Timber Days, the Priest River Chamber of Commerce, and the Newport Business Advisory Committee. I am running for County Commissioner to provide positive leadership focused on strengthening infrastructure, supporting public safety, encouraging responsible growth, and protecting the quality of life that makes Pend Oreille County special.
