The American people deserve a nation that is safe, just, and secure for all. This means housing and health care they can afford, stable jobs, safe neighborhoods with strong schools, and retiring with dignity. I am proud of my record to protect our civil rights and voting rights, honor tribal treaties, and delivering for the people of the South Sound. I secured $50 million for our local communities to create jobs by investing in housing, main streets, pedestrian safety, bridges, public transit, and clean water. This includes funding for police and firefighters. I’ve helped thousands of people recover more than $10 million of federal benefits owed to them, and I secured pay raises and benefits for our service members, their families, and Veterans. But our work is not done. Too many hard-working families, seniors, farmers, and small businesses feel squeezed by the rising cost of gas, groceries, utilities, housing, child-care, and elder-care. It’s why I oppose Trump’s tariffs, his cuts to health care and food assistance, and the cruel chaos of this administration. Our economic security is on the ballot. Voting rights are on the ballot. Civil rights are on the ballot. The future of our nation is on the ballot. I’m grateful to be endorsed by Planned Parenthood, the Washington State Labor Council, the League of Conservation Voters, Sierra Club, and leaders from our tribal nations, business, human services, and faith communities. It is my honor to serve as your Congresswoman, and I humbly ask for your vote.

I was raised in a family rooted in public service. My father served law enforcement, and from him I learned the importance of responsibility, discipline, and serving others with integrity. As the child of immigrant parents,I also came to understand the value of opportunity in this country, and how important it is that such opportunity remains open and fair to everyone. This district means a great deal to me. It is home to neighbors from many different backgrounds and cultures, all living and working together. It includes military families who serve our nation , veterans who have given so much in service, and many families who work hard every day to build stable and meaningful lives. It is also home to teachers, healthcare workers, small business owners, and young people working toward their future. At the same time, I have heard from many residents who are facing real challenges. The cost of living continues to rise. Housing has become more difficult to afford. Healthcare and education bring growing concerns for many families. And there are those who have served our country and communities who feel they are not receiving the full support they deserve. When I hear these concerns,I believe it is important to reflect and consider how things can be improved. I don’t claim to have all the answers. what I do promise is to listen carefully, to learn from this community, and to work with honesty and responsibility. My focus is simple: to help ease the burdens families are facing, to improve access to education and healthcare, to ensure that those who have served this community and country are treated with respect and dignity. I respectfully ask for your support and your vote.
