I’m running for re-election as Pierce County Auditor because I believe you deserve elections you can trust and public services that work for you. Over the past four years, I’ve strengthened election security, improved transparency, and made it easier for you to access the services you’re already paying for with your tax dollars. Election Integrity & Access. As Auditor, I oversee elections for nearly 600,000 voters. During my first term, I increased access to ballot drop boxes, added two new vote centers and expanded voter outreach. At a time when confidence in public institutions is being tested, it’s important to communicate openly and make sure every eligible voter can participate with confidence. Customer Service & Modernization. I’ve worked to improve the day-to-day services people count on, from car tabs and passports to recorded documents. Government should be easy to access and straightforward to navigate. Whether you are starting a business, getting married or casting a ballot, you deserve responsive service and clear communication. Experience & Leadership. I bring two decades of public service and executive management experience to this role, including senior leadership roles in city and state government. I’m proud to have the support of Speaker Laurie Jinkins, Pierce County Executive Ryan Mello, the majority of the Pierce County Council, Former Pierce County Auditor Julie Anderson, State Auditor Pat McCarthy, Port Commissioner JT Wilcox, Puyallup Deputy Mayor Dean Johnson, the PCCLC and many other bipartisan leaders and groups. I would be honored to earn your vote for re-election.

The people of Pierce County deserve an Auditor’s Office focused on professionalism, accountability, and protecting the public’s trust. Elections, licensing, recording services, and public records must be handled securely, accurately, and efficiently in full compliance with the law. Residents should feel confident that sensitive personal information is protected and that public services are delivered fairly, consistently, and without unnecessary delays. As Pierce County’s former Elections Supervisor, I helped implement the county’s first modern tabulation system in decades and developed award-winning procedures for ballot accountability, auditability, and tracking. These security and transparency procedures are still used today in Pierce County and other counties across Washington, helping safeguard voter confidence statewide. Many of the procedures, systems, and voter outreach efforts still used by Pierce County Elections today were originally developed under my leadership. After helping develop Washington’s modern statewide voter registration system, the Secretary of State’s Office and counties across Washington trusted me and asked me to train election staff and improve operations. When two counties suddenly lost election leadership, I was asked to step in as interim elections manager to help stabilize operations. I also worked with election system vendors to improve systems used by counties nationwide. Government should provide the highest level of service possible at the lowest burden to taxpayers. Public office should be about serving residents, not political ambition or the next position. When elected, the focus will be on improving services, supporting staff, and operating an Auditor’s Office defined by professionalism, transparency, fiscal responsibility, and proven results.
