As a Pierce County District Court Judge, Lizanne Padula has worked to have a positive impact on our community both in and out of the courtroom. Over the past 8 years, Judge Padula has brought accountability, justice and compassion to the courtroom. Outside of the courtroom, she tirelessly volunteers hundreds of hours each year at local high schools teaching students about the law and our justice system. This year, Judge Padula received the Outstanding Jurist Award from the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association for her volunteer work as the Chair of the Washington YMCA High School Mock Trial program. Education and the future of our legal system are her passion. Judge Padula is a diligent public servant who will continue working in and out of the courtroom to ensure a legal system that is fair, accessible and effective for everyone in our community.
