As Commissioner, I fight daily for practical solutions that address our challenges without raising taxes. We’re taxed enough already–I have never voted for or supported the annual 1% property tax increase. Instead, I champion responsible forest management, reliable local revenue, smarter tourism accountability, and fiscal discipline to fund public safety and services. I’ll continue serving you with results that protect the reasons why we all choose to live here. My straightforward, populist approach puts Skamania families, taxpayers, and our quality of life first.

Living in Skamania County for 22 years, it pains me to see what’s happening. Housing is scarce and unaffordable. Home insurance premiums keep increasing. Our schools have suffered years of cuts. The county budget is at the mercy of politicians who don’t live here. Job creation is slow. My management experience provides me with the tools to address these challenges. My school board service gives me insight into the hopes and dreams of our youth and their families. We have the people with the skills to find solutions, but we need new leadership and innovative ideas to make it happen.
