In these challenging times for our communities and country, I work hard to make a genuine difference on issues that matter. I’ve fought for record investments in affordable housing and behavioral health services, childcare for working families, and access to health care. I rely on my public health background to confront Trump’s attacks on science and health, and ensure we have the facts and care we deserve. As the Senate lead on budget and tax reform, I helped push generational change to our regressive tax code, asking millionaires to pay a fair share while winning needed relief for workers and small businesses. This measure will also help protect K-12 education and health care from future economic downturns. I’m proud of my record of standing up for everyone in our community. We need principled voices to defend our democracy, immigrant and LGBTQ+ neighbors, and to safeguard reproductive rights. There’s much more work to do to ensure everyone can live with dignity and hope. With your vote, I’ll remain a voice for our shared values of equality, equity, and opportunity. Endorsed by: Planned Parenthood, State Labor Council, environmental groups, teachers, nurses, Executive Somers, legislative colleagues, local elected leaders and more!

I will work for the 38th District with the goal of having Washington become a reasonable, economical, and low-tax state. In this current environment, nearly 1 in 4 small businesses are considering moving out of state per the Association of Washington Businesses. Meanwhile, Washington residents are having to face the difficult decision of making cuts to their budgets to maintain affordable living while the out-of-touch Democrats in Olympia continue to raise taxes to cover their own spending. Washington State voters deserve to have their voices heard, and if they are looking for relief anytime soon, they will have a candidate who will be the voice of the people and stand up for the rights they are entitled to.
