I have served as the County Assessor for eight years. My career began in 1993, when I joined the Assessor’s office as an appraiser. During my tenure as Assessor, I have led major technological advancements that have made our office more efficient and cost-effective. Additional improvements are coming and will benefit the county for years to come. I currently am the legislative co-chair for the Washington Association of County Assessors, where I played a key role in the passage of SSB 6162 focusing on property tax reform to help seniors, disabled residents, and disabled veterans remain in their homes.
