Growing up in a blue-collar home; hard work, fairness, and looking out for neighbors mattered. I’ve spent nearly two decades as a special education teacher in Spokane, standing up for students and families who needed a voice.
Across Washington, we’re working hard but Olympia leaves us unheard, rejected, and made to feel like we don’t matter. The people are all that matter! Our communities face addiction, homelessness, safety concerns, and exorbitantly high housing costs. We need action, treatment and recovery, safer streets, more housing, cost of living relief, and leaders willing to work together. I will be that leader!

Costs are rising. Wages are stagnant. Cuts to healthcare and education are happening alongside attacks on our civil rights. I plan to bring my lived experience as a first-generation Haitian American, father of two daughters, and childcare provider, along with my professional experience helping community navigate state government, especially those often left behind, to push for policy in Olympia that prioritizes all of us here in Spokane.
