Cheney School District is asking voters to support the Replacement Education, Programs and Operations Levy on November 3rd, 2026 and I urge you to vote “yes” in support of this levy. Your Yes vote supports student learning. The levy allows CSD to maintain the exceptional educational and extra-curricular programs currently offered in our school district. Supplemental levies are necessary to provide well-rounded programs for students. The Replacement EP&O levy goes directly to providing students with the high-quality instruction and academic support they need to succeed. Failure to pass this measure would result in drastic cuts to educational programs, student support, and services. These critical programs, smaller class size, and instructional support staff for targeted learning have been shown to significantly improve student learning and lead to better outcomes after graduating. Levy funds will allow the CSD to continue to provide crucial programs and support not funded by the state. This levy will replace the current levy, which means they are renewing an expiring levy so the educational services can continue to thrive. This is not a new tax. It’s time to renew our commitment and ensure a quality education for all our students. Let’s vote Yes for Proposition 1 on November 3rd.
