Committee: EP&O Replacement "For" Levy Committee - WVSD

Vote “Yes” on West Valley School District Proposition 1 EP&O Levy The 3-year Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) replacement levy is essential to maintaining the high quality learning experience our community expects for every West Valley student. This is not a new tax. It replaces the expiring levy that has long supported the programs and services our students rely on every day. State funding does not fully cover the cost of educating our students. This replacement levy fills critical gaps by supporting smaller class sizes, providing advanced courses, allowing for on-site nurses and counselors, providing and updating technology resources, and enhancing school safety measures. It also sustains the programs that enrich students’ lives and keep them engaged in school; including music, athletics, and extracurricular activities. As West Valley supporters, we know that supplementary staff, programs, and additional security measures that keep our students safe, rely upon the continuation of this levy and not state funding. This levy enables the staffing, programs, and building enhancements that other funding measures do not. This levy supports the full educational experience our community values. It ensures that students in the West Valley School District continue to benefit from strong academics, safe schools, and well-rounded opportunities. By renewing this levy, we protect essential programs, maintain stability, and invest directly in our students’ futures, all without increasing the tax rate. Vote “yes” for Proposition 1 and West Valley students.
