Committee: Capital Projects Levy "For" Committee - WVSD #363

Vote “Yes” on West Valley School District Proposition 2 West Valley friends and neighbors, our schools are the heart of the community. Every day, students from our district walk into buildings that should be safe, healthy, and ready to support their learning. Many of our facilities are aging, and the needs are real. That’s why the 2-year capital project’s levy is so important. This levy focuses on safety and security. It will modernize our school entrances with updated cameras, access controls, door locks, and communication systems; these tools protect students and staff and allow our schools to respond quickly in case of an emergency. It also addresses a major need at SVHS to replace the outdated HVAC system. Reliable air quality and temperature aren’t luxuries; they’re essential for students’ comfort, health, and academic success. This levy will fund critical health, safety, and infrastructure improvements. Including replacing antiquated fire sprinkler systems and completing necessary abatement projects; work that keeps our buildings safe, compliant, and functional for years to come. Supporting this levy means supporting our students. It gives them learning environments that meet today’s building and learning standards. It’s a responsible, time-limited measure that ensures West Valley schools remain strong places for our children to learn and grow. We encourage our community to join together and support this levy. When we invest in safe, healthy schools, we invest in the future of every child in the West Valley School District.
