I am very honored to be currently serving as your Chief Deputy Coroner, a role that allows me to draw upon over 14 years of experience in the Medical Examiner and Coroner field. My extensive background will continue to bring compassionate and comprehensive service to the people of Stevens County. During my tenure with Stevens County, I have witnessed a remarkable revitalization of the coroner’s office, marked by a commitment to transparency and trust. We have successfully secured federal grant funding, repaired vital partnerships with collaborating agencies, and achieved national accreditation from the International Association for Coroners and Medical Examiners. Additionally, we have implemented in-house strategies that have allowed us to maintain a balanced budget while minimizing the use of taxpayer funds. A strong community educational initiative and data-sharing platform have also been established to enhance public awareness, public safety, and prevention to avoidable deaths. The transformation of the Stevens County Coroner’s office since the last election has been significant, and I am eager to build upon this solid foundation. I humbly ask for your vote for Stevens County Coroner so that, together, we can continue building an office that reflects the values, integrity, and dedication our community deserves.

As Coroner, I will bring prevention and education to the forefront. I strongly believe that the duty of a Coroner is not only to exonerate the innocent and to prosecute the guilty, but also to protect the wellbeing and lives of our community. I will add transparency to the operations of the Coroner’s Office, better convey cause and manner of death statistics to families and community leaders, and increase funds for autopsy services from the current budget. There is a great need for continued education and awareness about the increase in fentanyl deaths, suicide prevention and mental healthcare services, the missing and murdered indigenous people crisis, the effects of violence on our community and the ripple effect of risk taking behavior. Through death investigation I will build a platform to educate our community. I am wholly dedicated to Stevens County with 100% of my professional focus being on our community! Death investigation gives a voice to those who cannot speak for themselves. I will compassionately provide Stevens County with expert death investigation and the information we all need to keep our families healthy and safe!
