Becky Renwick
(Prefers Republican Party) statement appears humanI started my career with Walla Walla County in 1997 with the Department of Court Services. From there I worked as a Trial Clerk for the Walla Walla District Court and transitioned to the County Clerk’s office in 2024 where I currently hold the position of Chief Deputy Clerk working side by side with longtime Clerk Kathy Martin learning all facets of the position. The office of County Clerk was established to serve as executive office for the court, custodian of all court records and exhibits, receipting of court ordered payments and disbursing funds, manager of the jury system, processing passports, and providing the public access to court records. By fulfilling this mission, the County Clerk helps to ensure the separation of powers among the three branches of government. The Clerk must be independent to maintain the integrity of court records. With 29 years of service to Walla Walla County, I have the knowledge, education, experience, and desire to work hard to represent the citizens of this county as your next County Clerk.
