I was born and raised in Eastern Washington and have spent my entire adult life in Walla Walla County. My wife and I chose to build our life here because the values of hard work, family, and service are deeply rooted in this county. It has been my privilege to serve with the Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office for over 23 years. For the past nine years, I have served as the Chief Deputy supporting and overseeing the daily operations of our deputies. Every day, I strive to further our mission and empower my team to succeed. I believe the people of Walla Walla County deserve the highest level of public safety. My priorities have always been, and will continue to be, protecting what matters most: The safety of our loved ones and neighbors. The prosperity and security of our businesses. The protection of our individual freedoms. As Sheriff, I will uphold our laws with integrity, strengthen community partnerships, and prioritize recruiting and retaining the quality personnel our county deserves. My training, education, and more than two decades of service have prepared me to serve as your next Walla Walla County Sheriff. I respectfully ask for your vote.

Born and raised in Walla Walla. Family roots here since the 1860s. I’m a United States Marine Corps veteran with 19 years of law enforcement experience–and I’m running for Walla Walla County Sheriff to keep our community safe. My commitment to your family’s safety are not political talking points which are exemplified by the six times, (2016, 2021-2025), I’ve been named the Washington State Traffic Safety Commission’s DUI Enforcement Officer of the Year for taking impaired drivers off our roads. From 2017-2025, I served as a K9 Handler while handling regular patrol, proving I can take on a large workload and still get things done. As your Sheriff, I won’t hide in an office. I’ll lead from the front. I will slash bloated administrative positions and redirect every dollar to real priorities: victim advocates who help those who’ve been hurt and need avenues of escape, and code enforcement to protect our neighborhoods, and clean them up. I’m 100% committed to leading a transparent, proactive Sheriff’s Office that puts Walla Walla County first–keeping families safe and holding criminals accountable. This is personal. This is my home. Let’s make it safer together.
