For Statement PJPRD Annual Levy 2026 The Prescott Pool has always been more than just a place to cool off on a hot summer day. It’s where kids learn to swim, families make memories, teenagers find summer jobs, and neighbors gather. In a small town like Prescott, where recreational opportunities are limited, the pool has been one of the few places that truly brings our community together. This summer reminded us how much we’ve taken that for granted. Without the pool, our children lost a safe place to spend their days, families had to drive to other towns for swim lessons, and many kids simply missed out because those extra trips aren’t possible for everyone. We felt the absence of something that has been part of Prescott for generations. Voting YES on the Parks & Recreation Levy is about making sure our kids don’t have to experience another summer without these opportunities. The pool is also an investment in our community. It serves families not only from Prescott but from neighboring communities as well, strengthens local connections, and gives young people positive ways to spend their summers. Once a community pool is gone, it’s incredibly difficult to bring it back. We’ve proven what this community can accomplish when we come together. We fought to protect our school because we believe our children deserve every opportunity to succeed. Now we have another chance to invest in their future. Please vote YES for the Prescott Pool Levy.
