As Whatcom County District Court’s first female judge I am proud to serve our community. My record reflects my commitment to fairness and justice. My accomplishments on the bench include the creation of Family Justice Court, which holds domestic violence offenders accountable while ensuring that they also receive treatment. I preside over Whatcom County’s Mental Health Court. It provides defendants with serious mental health challenges services that decrease their chances of returning to the criminal justice system. District Court prides itself on reducing access to justice barriers by offering zoom appearances for court and providing swift and timely hearings for individuals seeking protection orders or small claims trials. In my first term, I demonstrated that I am dedicated to upholding the rule of law while treating all parties with dignity. I ask for your vote.
