Elections are about voters, not candidates. Judge Rands remains committed to all the people of Whatcom County and doing the hard work this position requires. Over the past three-plus years, he brought a strong work ethic, integrity, and fairness to the bench in what he considers the best job in public service. As a lawyer, he was effective one client at a time; as a judge, he serves hundreds of people each day. Judge Rands is committed to ensuring that everyone who enters his courtroom is treated with respect, dignity, and has full access to justice under the law. Teaching at Judicial College and speaking to local students about civics and the courts are among the most meaningful parts of Judge Rands’ work. These efforts reflect his commitment to strengthening public trust and understanding our justice system. Judge Rands remains honored to continue serving the Whatcom County community.
