Whitman County Prosecuting Attorney

Prosecution is not about political decisions, it is about upholding the rule of law such that everyone can trust in the legal system. This means making the right decision, for the right reasons, every time, in every case. Further, the prosecutor must provide sound legal advice and guidance to county officials, focusing on the legal aspects of issues rather than the political components. I am honored to have the full support of all members of the current office. If elected, this means I will lead a team that has 50+ years of legal experience among the lawyers, and 40+ years of experience with our victim advocates and legal staff. Together, we will continue to help crime victims navigate the complex criminal system in a way that reduces fear and provides support through the process. We will continue to build strong cases against the most dangerous and violent criminal offenders, while also working with our therapeutic courts when appropriate. We will continue to stay current in law and technology to work efficiently. I have dedicated my entire legal career to serving Whitman County, as the Prosecuting Attorney I will continue to focus on justice and professionalism in everything I do.
