Unanimously appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, Julia Davis has served as District Court judge since 2025. Prior to that Julia worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney at the Yakima County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for over 13 years. In that time, she handled various types of cases in both District and Superior Court- including crimes of domestic violence, sexual assault, crimes against children, driving under the influence, homicide, and vehicular homicide. Julia looks forward to continuing to serve you as one of your District Court judges. She lives in Yakima County with her partner Chad Janis.
